BAC 2010: The Centenary of the BAC at Filton

The Bristol Bulldog was specially brought from the RAF Museum at Hendon |

on display were Bristol cars, buses, aircraft models and volunteers from
the Air Ambulance. Sir Stanley White's 1903 Panhard Levassor car was also brought specially for the exhibition. |

The Easyjet Airbus A319 named Sir George White in honour of the founder of BAC, is celebrated by costumed characters and the visitors, 150 of whom were flown in from Bristol Lulsgate by Easyjet flight number ESY100. |

The Bristol Boxkite and Brabazon models were from the Bristol Aero Collection Museum at Kemble |

|

while the Blenheim Mk 1 and the Scout were from BAE Systems at Farnborough |

| Altogether this was a very special celebration of the 100 Years of the Aircraft Industry at Filton. | |
