LAA Parrty in the Park at Shuttleworth 2010

This was a day to celebrate the LAA Homebuilt aircraft and show them off to the invited VIPs,
followed by the scheduled Shuttleworth Evening Flying Display.

The weather turned out to be less than perfect and the evening flying display was unable to include any of the Bristol aircraft, which had been planned to celebrate the centenary of the company's foundation.

The RAeS/Boeing Schools Build-a-Plane Challenge being built by Yateley School was there in skeleton form,
and was joined by the first two Youth Build-a-Planes.

The Yateley pupils proudly show off their Rans Coyote II as it nears completion.

The UK Youth Build-a-Plane "The Spirit of Brooklands" G-TSOB displayed by Stewart Luck,
while Francis Donaldson flies the "Spirit of Devon Youth" G-SPDY.

Several other LAA Types and Permit aircraft were flown during the display, including the Chilton.
The Lysander, Luscombe and other historic aircraft also flew in the blustery conditions.
