Hillfields School Pupils Visit Concorde

An excellent way of celebrating Filton's Century of  achievements over the past hundred years is to visit one of its best loved aircraft, Concorde.  The one here is the last one to have been made, the last complete aircraft of any type built at Filton, and the last one to fly.  It returned home to Filton on 26th November 2003.

The visit takes you around, under and through the magnificent aircraft, and the guides tell you fascinating information as you move through the tour.

Children and teachers from Hillfields Primary School, Fishponds visited Concorde recently, and told Michelle Ruminski of Radio Bristol all about their day out, when she visited the school.

The children also produced a mural celebrating the Centenary of the Bristol Aeroplane Company
